Led by expert faculty, each club meets weekly and performs throughout the year at School events and festivals.
Junior Flute Club (Grades 1–7)
Young flutists performing at NYSSMA Level 1–4 join forces in this fun, skill-building ensemble. With a focus on developing ensemble techniques and musical confidence, Junior Flute Club is the perfect place to grow while making music with friends.
Flute Club (Grades 8–12)
For advanced flutists (NYSSMA Level 5–6), this group tackles exciting repertoire and challenges students to refine technique, listen deeply, and lead with confidence. Students also mentor younger players, strengthening their own skills through peer collaboration.
Adult Flute Choir (Ages 18 and up)
Designed for adult flutists seeking a creative and social outlet, the Adult Flute Choir explores a wide range of repertoire and offers meaningful performance opportunities. The ensemble collaborates with youth ensembles for Flute Plus!, an annual celebration of the flute featuring performances, guest artists, and premieres of new works.
Clarinet Club (Grades 6–Adult)
This intergenerational group dives into classical, jazz, and popular music while exploring tone production, technique, reeds, and sight-reading. With mentorship built into the model, Clarinet Club is ideal for developing musicianship and building community across ages.
Viola Club (All Ages and Levels)
Viola Club brings together violists of all levels for a unique multi-age ensemble experience. Members benefit from group instruction, exciting collaborative projects, and workshops with guest artists. A strong emphasis on peer learning and mentorship creates a welcoming, growth-centered environment.
