Petite Chorus
Grades Pre-K–1
A joyful introduction to choral singing, Petite Chorus engages young children in playful music-making while laying a strong foundation in vocal technique, listening, and early music reading. Through songs and games, students explore repertoire from cultures around the world, sparking both musical growth and curiosity in a lively classroom setting.
Beginner Voices
Grades 2–4
Beginner Voices offers young singers the opportunity to develop ensemble skills through unison songs, simple rounds, and accessible part-singing. Students explore a wide range of global repertoire and build foundational sight-reading and rhythm skills using solfège and Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Classes emphasize healthy vocal production, musical expression, and teamwork.
Junior Voices
Grades 5–8
Junior Voices provides a dynamic next step for singers ready for more complex music. Repertoire includes single-line, two- and three-part pieces, and canons from a variety of musical styles and cultures. Students sing in multiple languages—including French, German, Italian, Latin, and Spanish—and strengthen their ability to read and interpret choral scores. Emphasis is placed on musicality, vocal independence, and the expressive relationship between music and text.
Chamber Choir
Grades 9–12
The Chamber Choir is designed for advanced high school singers seeking a rich and rewarding ensemble experience. Students perform challenging repertoire from across historical periods—Renaissance to contemporary—as well as selections from the Great American Songbook and musical theatre. Choristers learn to sing in multiple languages, shift between melodic and harmonic roles, and develop fluency in score reading, vocal interpretation, and ensemble leadership.
